The Thunder Extreme U-13 girls (96/97) were the finalists in the FC Delco Players Cup held over Memorial Day weekend. The Players Cup attracts more than 450 of the top teams from all over the country. Thunder Extreme scored 9 goals and got 3 shut outs in their 5 games, and finished with the most points overall in group play. 

Thunder Siafu Girls U11 Takes 1st Place in Jefferson Cup

The Thunder Siafu Girls U11 Premier Soccer Team, coached by Greg Hall and Mark Lastova, participated in the Jefferson Cup Tournament the weekend of March 19th. In a somewhat slow start, Thunder Siafu qualified for the semi-finals by posting two ties against the Greensboro Twisters (NC) and the Prince William Courage (VA) respectively on day one.

In their first semi-final game, Thunder Siafu dominated the MSC Stallions (MD) to qualify for the Championships and a re-match against the Greensboro Twisters. Thunder Siafu took home the title in a shootout with Jade Wilkins shutting down the goal to allow Kinlee Bruns (3) the opportunity to sink the winning shot. PKs were also taken by Gwynn Marsh-Armstrong, Dana Reed, Katie Pollack, and Victoria Hall. Phenomenal midfield play from Ashley Ensor (2), Victoria Hall, Sofia Harrison (1), Makenzie Hockensmith (1), Kate Lastova (2), Katie Pollack, Dana Reed and Marissa Vincent supplied Thunder Siafu with enough of a points-cushion in the tournament as Yuliza Argueta, Brianna Starr and Gwynn Marsh-Armstrong (1) absolutely locked down the defense.

Congrats Ladies!

Levski won the Amanda Post Memorial March Mania Tournament last weekend. They played in the top U9 boys division (gold) winning their first game 5-0 , tying the second 1-1, winning the third 6-0 to qualify for finals. The final game against PWSI Courage Red went to shoot outs which Levski won - final score 3-2.

Levski won the Stafford Area Soccer Association's St. Patrick's Day Tournament this weekend. They were in the top U9 boys division and finished undefeated: 1st game (5-2) and the next three were shut outs (5-0), (5-0) and (2-0 in the finals).

Three U12 Girls Storm players accepted to the 97' Maryland Olympic Development Program!

TSC Pride U14 girls, coached by Jorge Sandoval and Chris Robinson, were champions in Virginia Beach Columbus Day Soccer Tournament held October 17^th and 18^th in Virginia Beach. The girls won three games and tied one game, scoring 11 goals total.  Congratulations TSC Pride!!

Premier team wins the OBGC Capital Cup Tournament.  Congratulations!!

 The U12 Thunder Red Storm Premier Team won the Busch Gardens Tournament this past weekend.  This was the team’s first 11 v 11 tournament and what a performance for their debut!  The girls played outstanding soccer all weekend long.  Each player gave their best effort making it very difficult for their opponents to possess the ball.  They went undefeated the entire tournament scoring a total of 25 goals and conceding only one goal on a free kick.   Congratulations to these talented young soccer stars on their great performance!

Thunder Extreme U15 girls advance to round 3 of the MD State Cup after beating last year’s finalist MSC Mustangs 3-1.

The U-10 Girls Siafu Team, playing under Denison Cabral as the DCFA Santos Team (although our Coaches are still TSC's own Greg Hall and Thorsten Kappey) won the Maryland State Futsal Cup today.  The girls did an outstanding job.  They outscored their opponents 16-0 during the tournament, defeating the Baltimore bays 3-0 in the semifinal, and Bethesda in the final 3-0.  Team members are Francesca vanegas, Brianna Starr,  yuliza Argueta, Emily Mcquarrie, Gwyn Marsh-Armstrong,  and Victoria Hall.
